SAN JOSE, Calif. (Jan. 02, 2002) --
MedioStream today announced that its suite of neoDVD software will now include patent-pending direct-to-disc recording and smart buffering features, which will dramatically reduce the hard disk drive requirement for consumers to burn DVDs.
MedioStream will demonstrate both features at its booth (3322, Central Halls 1-2) during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas from January 8-11.
"Direct-to-Disc Recording" allows users to turn old home movies and videos into DVDs in a simple, truly one-step process, instead of having to use the PC first as a buffer to create a disc image for burning. This reduces hard disk drive requirements and makes the process of creating a DVD easier than ever. "Direct-to-Disc Recording" is compatible with all commercially available DVD+RW drives, including the Ricoh MP5120A drive, the Philips DVDR 1000 drive, and the new Sony DRU110A/C1 drive.

Fragt sich nur wer so etwas braucht, wo jeder ALDI Rechner schon ne 40 GIG Platte drin hat!
Ich gewinne langsam den Eindruck das cool als DVD-R Gegener ne Menge Zeit in das Thema investiert.
Ihm wir wohl langsam ganz ....ääääh..."hot" wenn es um DVD Brennen geht! ;-))))
