... und Helmut ist dieses Programm wirklich sein Geld wert. Oder gibt es auf der GNU-BAsis ein ähnliches Produkt.

Auf jeden Fall funzt das in Verbindung mit dem Pioneer DVD Brenner A03 bestens. Für nix anderes nutze ich das. Zum Brennen von CD´s oder SVCD´s gibt es besseres Programme und würde ich das Progi nie nehmen.

Neee. Das kein Authoring-Tool - nur ein Brennprogi. Aber DVD-R wird gut unterstützt (UDF / VIDEO-UDF und IMAGE)

Kostenlose Tools - für was meinste jetzt ? Was willste machen ?

Das Programm enthält in der neuen Version übrigens auch einen MPEG-Encorder mit bescheidener Qualität. Dafür hats nichts gekostet. Ansonsten eigentlich nicht schlechter als z.B. Nero.
