Adobe DVD Encore overlay problems

Hi everyone,

I'm a new Adobe DVD Encore user and I got a big problem with the preview function of menus in Adobe Encore DVD.

I use Matrox G450 and P650 graphic cards in dual head overlay mode.
It's impossible for me get a overlay to my tv with which I can see how the menus look on a normal customer tv.
I'm be able to see the video stream but not the menu itself.
I tried some options on the Matrox overlay configuration menu but nothing helped.
Watching a normal dvd (e.g. with PowerDVD) isn't a problem. The menus appear on th tv. But not within the preview in Encore.

I'm an old DVDMaestro user and I hadn't this problem before.

Any suggestions would be really apreciated.

Hi,

did you try to install the update to Encore 1.01 available at the Adobe website? It fixes some problems with Matrox graphic cards.

Hi Dominique,

well, yes I've installed V1.1. Nothing changed.
As far as I know it could be a Matrox driver problem because Encore needs directx 9.0b. Therefore the driver has to compatible with this version.

Do you work with Encore too?
